System Overview

Flotation separation process is commonly used in copper ore processing plants. Before reagent addition and flotation, copper ores are first coarsely ground into small pieces, then ground to a certain particle size, and beneficiation reagents are added. In this way, mineral particles float up, and the final foam products are collected, further dewatered to obtain copper concentrate, which is sent to the smelter for copper smelting.

Process Flow

Crushing and Screening: Three-stage closed-circuit crushing (jaw crusher + cone crusher + vibrating screen) to 10-15mm

Grinding and Classification: Two-stage closed-circuit grinding (ball mill + spiral classifier + hydrocyclone), fineness -200 mesh accounts for 50%-70%.

Preferential Copper Flotation:The roughing foam is copper concentrate, and the tailings enter the subsequent sulfur and iron recovery process

Concentration and Dewatering:Two-stage dewatering of copper concentrate (thickener + filter).
