System Overview

Magnetic separation is a mineral separation method based on the magnetic differences of minerals. It is widely used in the enrichment of minerals such as iron, manganese, nickel, and titanium.

Process Flow

jaw crusher (discharge size ≤ 150mm)

cone crusher/high pressure roller mill (discharge particle size ≤ 10mm)

ball mill + classifier (grinding to -200 mesh accounts for 65%~95%)

Weak magnetic separation (0.1-0.3T): used for strongly magnetic minerals (such as magnetite).

Strong magnetic separation (0.8-1.5T): used for weakly magnetic minerals (such as hematite and limonite).

High gradient magnetic separation (1.5-2.5T): used for fine-grained minerals (such as ilmenite and manganese ore).

concentrator + filter (moisture ≤ 10%),dry discharge (filter pressure) or return water utilization.
